I recently created [[Wikipedia:Ammendment to deletion policy]] after seeing some of the rationales offered by the people at AfD. This seeks to remoce state of content as a criterion of deletion, making topic the sole deciding factor in deletion debates. No more "delete, badly sourced" or "delete, pov".
