Well, I'm fundamentally opposed. The lurch from the apocalyptic claim to the bureaucratic solution is not a recipe for good policy.

One shouldn't have to provide a better idea in order to oppose the implementation of something that one considers to be a bad idea. Especially not when we can simply continue doing what we're currently doing without needing to implement a new idea at all.
