What's the goal? It's hard to comment without knowing what you're
trying to achieve here. You're really trying to make a search engine,
by sucking in content from other sources? No, that's not worth doing -
as if anyone is ever going to switch from Google.
If you're talking about a better search mechanism *inside* MediaWiki,
then sure, why not? But I think you absolutely have to take
disambiguation pages into account and do something smart with them -
by all means augment the disambig page with pages that editors have
missed (and suggest that the user add them!)
For example, look up Daylesford, and compare it with the disambig page
(the first link). Your tool shows up a school, a train station and a
railway all missing from the disambig page.
