I am a researcher seeking to interview Wikipedia contributors of any and all levels of experience and involvement. In-depth, one hour interviews will be conducted over the phone or email beginning March 27. Compensation for your time will be provided: a $10 gift certificate to Amazon.com. Must be 18+ and U.S. resident. Contact Benjamin Johnson, Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media, Michigan State University, by email at john2429@msu.edu or by phone at 517.230.1272.
Thanks! Benjamin
You probably know already, but if you require respondents to be US residents you won't get a representative cross-section of the userbase of the English language Wikipedia...

Not to mention over 18...
Not only not representative, but missing some of the best editors by ignoring the under 18s, much to my surprise.

True, but how can people under 18 given informed consent for the study? Try getting your local "research on human subjects" office to sign off on collecting information from minors.

Obviously including under 18s could lead to privacy and legal concerns. Including non-US people has no such problems.

I'll do it, if the mods will let this message through.

Benjamin,
If you're still looking for folks, I'm game. I'm 18+, a U.S. resident and an admin at Wikipedia.
