Yes, I think that's about right. So instead of speedying an article that didn't fall into any CSD, the RC patroller here should probably have tagged it for merge. I don't think he did such a bad thing by speedying, but it doesn't seem like a terribly constructive way to handle valuable information.

Or we can hope that the person createing substubs (these are not subs) will get a clue and create [[FTSE listings]]. Frankly putting in a {{merge}} tag would be a lot of effort since I have no idea if a sutible article to merg too exists. On top of that there is the issue of how big cleanup catogries tend to be. Once I had a go a storting out Articles that need to be wikified. by the end of the week I had as far as makeing sure everything starting with the letter A was either wikified of on VFD.
