It is just me that found it rather strange:

• seems to be an old user [[tompeeters]] active from 24 Oct 2001 to 26 Nov 2001.
• recently converted to [[User:Tom peeters]].
• under this new account active from the 30 May 2003
• he have made several contribs under the IP 194.109.250.130

None of this seems strange. (Note again that it's really [[User:tompeters]].)

His arguments with [[User:XJamRastafire]] don't seem very strange either. They're just arguing about how some pages should be written.

for example the article [[Easter]], when looking at the history he made only a small change to it.

It'd be better if it he'd said "Articles I've edited" instead of "Articles I rewrote". But overall it's not odd. Lots of people list all of the articles that they've ever edited.

• yesterday, after some bad discussion he forked the article

[[Hipparcos]] to [[Hipparcus]]. He doesn't seems to be annoyed by the fact that all the articles still link to the ld one, except of course the other ont that he actually changes [[Ptolemy]]

Yeah, this is a silly way to try to resolve things. He should at least put his ideas on [[Hipparchus/Temp]]. Thus he would separate the substantive disagreements with XJamRastafire from the relatively minor issue of which is the better name. (Also note that it's [[Hipparchus]] and [[Hipparchos]].)

Note to those about to get upset about the Anglicisation issue: Tom has implied that he'll accept [[Hipparchus]] if that's policy; he didn't think so, but nobody's started discussing policy yet. [[Hipparchus]] probably is better known in English texts, hence policy, but I'll bet that Tom will come around to it once this is explained to him. (Since he was last here in 2001, it may be that policy has changed, and he's assuming that it hasn't.)

All in all, I find this user somewhat 'strange' and annoying. Anyone else having problems with him? Can some of you take a look to him and his behaviour?

I looked at all of his edits as [[User:Tom Peters]] and [[User:194.109.250.130]]. They don't seem strange. He and XJamRastafire will have to work out their disagreements, but they don't seem to be having any trouble talking to each other yet. (I didn't look at any edits made as [[User:Tompeters]], since these were all made a long time ago -- in 2001.)
