Just to clear up any ambiguity, the request was to
invoke known methods to allow "wp" to rank highly in
google searches. First spot is not improper IMHO, and
certainly its valid for Wikipedia to replace a
particular blogging CMS in the top slot.
Sadly, a google of wp first hits Wikipedia content
(the [[WP]] disambig page) at about 165 slots down -
not really acceptable at all. Asserting that the WP
disambig show up would be OK, and I could add direct
external links to Washpost and Wordpress, etc. (a
substitute search page). But the [[Main Page]] and the
www.Wikipedia.org portal could just as well be
corrected in google searches.
