Sure because
it's a negative controversial statement.
However called Jaron a "film director" is not a negative statement. It's
neutral at best. Most people would consider it actually sort-of positive.
You've outsmarted yourself with respect to literally following rules.

Look carefully at that middle line. It does NOT have to be negative in order
for it to be removed.
