Re : William - I respect your judgment and will try and put things more neutrally. I admit that I am losing some faith that a sensible point can be made without many editors immediately flinging insults, but that's no reason not to try......
On http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovanni_di_Stefano Fred B has said "Don't link to sources which imply information we lack a good source for"
and has deleted the talk page containing heaps of reliable sources (like US Court Doc.s, The Times etc.).
That concerns me.
Re : Steve...
Looks like more clowining to me. Are you planning to contribute something productive to this list, or should we moderate you? Steve _______________________________________________

PM, if there is a legal issue it really isn't a good idea to discuss this on an open list. Now, I've looked at the deleted list of sources and it looks like they are fine to me. I strongly suggest you send a polite note to Fred saying so, outlining why each of the sources is clearly an RS and should be valid. But please take this off the list.

Wrong legal system again. English law. Unless you encrypt that email it may still be actionable.

Indeed. The claims are complex and stated in a complex way; best to steer well clear unless you are either a lawyer specialising in English and European law, very brave, very rich, or very sure of your facts.

The comment was pragmatic, not about a specific legal system. It does not ever make sense to discuss legal issues in great detail on an open list. Whether comments one makes will still be actionable is a distinct issue (and again pragmatically speaking, comments that are hard to find out about are hard for people to take about about).
