contains a reference to Wikipedia's article about "Deep Thought" from the Douglas Adams book trilogy. I don't think it will cause too much traffic, though, since it is not the focus of the article. It's interesting because Slashdot for some time used Everything2 links to explain stuff like that -- apparently Wikipedia is a more valuable resource, at least in the opinion of the submitter.

Well, that's probably only because e2 has many more articles. But look at the respective articles. Ours is obviously much better. -LDan

Actually, it's because Everything2 started out as a project by one of Rob Malda's friends and even resided at everything.slashdot.org (at that time it was just called "Everything"). It is now independent, but unfortunately has never been able to scale. And the few really good articles that are there are copyrighted by their authors. Pity.
