This sort of project is bound to attract semi-autists with no social skills. Nevertheless, I don't think it's acceptable to pass the editing on to others because you can't be bothered to do it yourself.

I think it's not only acceptable, but desirable, that people who aren't good at stringing sentences together should contribute by producing 'bullet point lists' like these ones.
We might have a discussion about whether these lists are better on the article page or the Talk page until they're polished. Personally, I think they're better on the article page.

I think it's desirable to have every person leave nothing undone and write perfect, Briliant Prose articles, but it's impractical to hold them to this standard.
I agree with you that lists should be on the article page. LDan

Absolutely the article page, so that people can see it. I usually don't even look at the discussion page unless I suspect that my edit might be controversial -- which means that I don't look at it if I'm only reading and haven't yet been inspired to improve upon something. (Saves me 3 seconds of downloading time. ^_^)

My younger brother is a semi-autist (and I know some others), and I find that you can usually tell them directly what they're doing wrong and they'll change their behavior. Sometimes, they even like that you're telling them how to behave socially. It's weird. However, as the wikipedia policy says, you're not obligated to abide by these conventions.
As for not being bothered to do edits, I don't think it's acceptable to demand that someone do that copyediting. It's their own choice. They aren't obligated to do every copyedit they see. LDan

Fine. I'll stick to my own articles and ignore all the rest of Wikipedia.
Please take my sysop powers away. I won't be needing them.

You're not doing anything wrong. You're not obligated to edit anything. I don't think you need to quit being a sysop. Why is everyone being so hard on RK? LDan

Most of this is self-generated, but there is a definite request on my part and a few others (with still others encouraging him to be more aggressive) to take it easy when other contributors don't do exactly what he expects or wants.
