No, no, no. Caroline is a good admin. I still support her having sysop rights.
I made a bad call, and Caroline set me straight. I over-reacted, and I by-passed the procedures. (Hm, didn't I say a few days ago that people who do that shouldn't be on any of the committees? Oops!)

I over-reacted too. I find the US right difficult and have an instinct to protect anyone who stands up to them. We have nothing close to them here.
I feel some people act out of instinct, and edit because they know that something "just is", or that "everyone knows that". Of course these kind of edits are entirely based on cultural references and infuriate me.
I'm a passionate supporter of Wikipedia and hope my work helps internationalise the project.
I know I shouldn't let people wind me up though.
