That vote was to ban user:Liberal, not the other name.
It was the same damn person! What's more is that they deliberately upped the ante by choosing an offensive user name. That needed to be stopped then and there.

Okay... I see what you mean, it was banned because it was a second name belonging to the same person, not because it was offensive (although I agree it was).
