Absolutely not. We do things by consensus of en.wikipedia. I suggest we
continue this discussion on wikien-l where it belongs.
How is that fair? Consensus works when one choice is safe or
conservative, such as keeping an article on VfD. This is a simple
yes/no decision, so consensus doesn't apply here. Neither choice
should be unfairly weighted in the voting. The community feels that
external links should not have ref="nofollow". If a higher burden is
required, it should be placed on those who approve of nofollow links,
since it's a recent change. Don't place the burden on people who just
want to go back to the way it's worked for years.
