The only horror in the PDF story is the hideous foolishness of the author. Why did he sign up for an account which charges him for exceeding his bandwidth limit? My www.edpoor.com website simply stops responding if I exceed the limit.
I'm sure Jimbo has the foresight to deal with a sudden surge of bandwidth usage -- like 100-fold or 1000-fold.

*Richard looks around for a NZ broadband provider who doesn't have a transfer cap plus overage charges*: Nope - they all work that way - we have no choice, largely because all our data either has to go via satellite (not cheap) or via submarine cable across the Pacific Ocean or Tasman Sea (also not cheap). So you can rest assured that I will not be downloading a dump.
