The text actually made my day.

So how do we sign up for some of that CIA-NSA money from the "Absurd Wikipedia Budget"?

He does have a point. If other secret services and governments released their data into the public domain, we wouldn't have to rely on the CIA World Factbook and the State Dept. reports so much. ;-)

Yeah, it's only a matter of time before they discover those black-ops speedy deletions we were making in [[Category:Cambodia]] while we claimed we were trying to get [[Vietnam]] up to featured-article status.

Shh! If you talk about it publically, they may discover how we are financing the corrupt regimes of Wikicommons and Wikibooks with revenue from our War on [[Heroin]]!

I thought we were using Wikipedia to sell drugs in the third world... did I miss the memo?

No, you just misread it. Wikipedia is a free encyclopaedia. The drugs distributed will be free, or just designed to cover the cost of their production... but wait, the cheap drugs are already in the thrid world... or are you talking about meds?

Prohías would not have given any greater credit to white-ops.

US intelligence? Why do people like this always focus on the US? We couldn't have done this with the help of so many other countries' secret intelligence ops.

Don't you get it? The US is the only evil force in the world today (just ask the New York Times or the Daily Mirror), so it follows that something as diabolical as Wikipedia could only have originiated from one place.

Only the US intelligence services would waste resources and time on something as relatively insignificant in world affairs as Wikipedia ;-)

Dr. Les Sachs sought asylum in Holland after a vindictive American court banned him from writing about Patricia Cornwell, a political ally and major contributor to the Bush Administration, whom he accused of plagiarism and other misdeeds. Sach's complaint over the abuse of judicial power for political purposes is based on his personal experience as a targeted victim.* His report outlines the mechanism by which his banning was accomplished.
I am a peaceful, gentle man. I was one of America's most educated citizens, a successful writer. But I dared to criticize a wealthy friend of the George Bush family, the right-wing extremist author Patricia Cornwell, who has neo-Nazi inclinations and a life of scandal to match. Peaceful and gentle? I must've missed the memo. Accusing people of plagiarism and what not tends to not get you friendly replies and I'm pretty sure the Bush administration had nothing to do with it. They wouldn't care if an author wins a court case.
Anyone who calls someone names and rants about their political preferences and supposed neo-Nazi sympathies is vindictive and probably has issues of their own.

Much like the United States itself, Wikipedia pretends to be a "democracy". They proudly trumpet: "Anyone can edit Wikipedia!"
Would this fellow hate us more or less if he realised Wikipedia Is Communism? (or Fascism, or bogey-word-of-your-choice)

At least de.wp does not even pretend to be a democracy. We only claim that some aspects of decision making are similar to those in democracies. Apart from the feudalistic, meritocratic, monarchist, anarchist and technocratic ones.

en quite specifically disclaims being a democracy. And to the extent that occasionally it is democratic, it again disclaims ever being more democratic than necessary.
