You aren't allowing for the typical length of intense participation in *any* online environment typically being 18-24 months (MMORPGs, etc), and that the stated reason may not be the reason.

Well, certainly that's a possiblity. The reverse is also a possibility, and Wikipedia process, basically, can't figure out the difference. It's not like I've never seen this before. Time will tell.
