Also - I'll freely admit that Cool Hand Luke's knowledge of statistical analysis and ability to compile and analyze far exceeds my own, and GWH's ability to critique it exceeds mine by a similar margin. It looks like the confidence in the conclusiveness of the data is different between SirFozzie's subpage and the RfC, which may be because different people wrote the text. I think there is a similarity, but that it isn't definitive - merely suggestive, which in my mind isn't a high enough standard if you're going to justify an action using a statistical analysis. The RfC takes a much clearer position in favor of viewing this as definitive evidence that Mantanmoreland and Samiharris are the same person, which is an incorrect conclusion IMHO.

I'll state again for effect though - there is no forest fire here, and no need for outrage or great emotion about this topic. Its an interesting but minor problem.
