That's fine. However, all users should be treated with the same respect and courtesy. I think that's Fred's point. I've also seen word salads coming from users who are very passionate about what they want to get across but have only a glancing knowledge of the English language. Sometimes, they change their subject in the middle of a sentence. One of my good friends who is schizophrenic is an amateur historian who would be excellent on Wikipedia. He's in recovery ([[Recovery model]] doesn't exist yet either), however. You make an excellent point about poorly medicated/unmedicated folks with psychiatric disabilities. It's a huge problem with the [[Public mental health system]].

When we block someone, or restrict their editing, the discussion needs to be framed around behavior. This actually gives the person something to work with, feedback. Maintaining that discipline is hard, and we all break it from time to time, especially in private, but long discussions on the Administrators noticeboard about apparent psychiatric problems are not good. Most of us don't know what we're talking about, and those of us who do, know better.

Holy Schmoley - is that what's going on? Well that sort of thing needs to be taken off-Wiki in general. It is never cool to inquire about someone's mental health when examining behavior - especially if it's in the third person. That's just plain wrong. A general discussion like this one is fine to me, but characterizing another person's behavior in terms of their mental health is just...well...
It reminds of some editors I worked with who would mock each other's English - in really bad English.:)
