It should accept that you have a right to hold it and that you have a right to air it. That does not mean the society has to accept it being imposed.

It should accept that you have a right to hold it and that you have a right to air it. That does not mean the society has to accept it being imposed.
More to the point, there's a difference between accepting something and endorsing it. My acceptance that some people are gay and that they have the same rights any heterosexual does not mean I endorse or encourage homosexuality.
