Question: if Wikipedia was under a DOS attack of some sort, would we know about it? I ask because there was an incident of repeated vandalism today, and just after that was dealt with, Wikipedia became very (very) slow.
So I just thought a DOS attack was a possibility. Is it? :-)

Very unlikely. There's so much nastier things you could do to Wikipedia than slow it down somewhat. Like deleting all the images, or using Special:Movepage to shuffle the article titles.

But I don't think Wikipedia would be attacked in any way because it would be too easy. It is much like the Incompatable Timeshare System. -LittleDan
