Hello!
As far as Jeronim is no longer admin of the list, i would like to know if there is another person who would like to keep up the list and administrate it.
I would of course explain the things what a list administrator should do to the user(s?) interested in it. The main - activity is spam-deletion though..
Volunteers? :)
Sincerly yours, Fire
Not interested, but i think you might get a better response if you specifiy here just what the admin needs to do.

Is it difficult?

Hello.
No, it isn't. The main thing to do is to watch the moderation queue of the list, where mails are held because of several things ( posted by a non-member, etc). The list administrator would have to check that moderation queue, delete the spam and accept non-spam mails. It's easy and does not take a lot of time: The l.a. would just have to check the mail if he's unsure. Doing that on a daily basis, it would take maximun ten minutes. The second thing a list admin would have to do is to change a settings of the ML when there's a require for that (set archive to private, hide the list in the Mailing List overview, etc), what is done on a html interface. The last thing he has to do is regulary the list :). If a list admin would be unsure of the options he can do, i'd explain him (or her).
Sincerly yours, Ronny

Consider me interested, then. Why did Jeronim quit?

Because I only volunteered because nobody was doing the job, and it turned out that this was a dumb idea because administering this list was permanently way down on my todo list. I've been added to wikitech-l admins, which is a list I pay more attention to and am directly interested in.

I'll volunteer. I've administered Mailman lists in the past (converted this site over from Listproc: http://eh.net/mailman/listinfo.cgi).
You want a list administrator, or just a list moderator, btw? (I'll volunteer for either. :)
