VfD has the consensus support of the community.
No it doesn't.
Articles about schools listed on VfD have, for the most part, consensus
support to be deleted. QED.
They probably don't even have a majority support to be deleted. They certainly don't have a consensus support.

If VfD doesn't have the consensus support of the community, then you should have no problem getting support to have the process stopped. Why don't you try?
Anything that gets deleted off VfD has the consensus support of those who vote. If you don't vote, you have no right to complain. Same in VfD as it is in real-life elections.

Having the process stopped would require consensus opposition to VfD. Since there is no consensus in either direction, the process will continue.

The VfD process is a sham. Same in VfD as it is in real-life elections. If the deletionists want a page to be deleted, it will be deleted. If the politicians and propagandists want one of their colleagues to be elected, their candidate will be elected.
It is impossible to vote on all of these listings without wasting hours of time or using a "keepbot". This seems very similar to using force or removing voter registrations to prevent people from voting in elections. VfD is a gigantic mess, and it is easy to miss articles listed for deletion. Everyone naturally has the right to complain, regardless of whether they voted. To state that someone does not have any right to complain is nothing more than a typical way of silencing the opposition.

It doesn't. I oppose it; a number of others do as well.

They don't have support except from a small clique of deletionists that feels it is doing a public service by removing valid information.
