In sympathy.
Following common sense you cite Wiki's rules. But as a long line of us have found here, Wiki doesn't have any rules, that are for taking literally. Iit only has "spirits of rules" for interpreting in its overall interests not in yours. They will tell you here "You're not entitled to anything".
You were entitled to be told that before you ever joined, though. You would have preferred that. Most of the world would prefer that too. That's why most of the world is starting to write critical newspaper reviews of Wiki and accord it lightweight status as a source. Keep that bright in your heart + watch it happen.

Um, no. There are critical newspaper reviews because we get things wrong. Entirely different.

Of course, you fail to tell us what your grievance is. What did you do that earned you your ban or block or whatever? My feeling from reading this is that it was well deserved.

The "rules" are extremely liquid and not applied to the ideologically pure. An atmosphere of intolerance pervades against dissenters who do not genuflect before the privileged elite. This lack of diversity, which allows crusaders and jihadists a license to throw civility to the winds, threatens Wikipedia's goal to write a credible encyclopedia more than anything else. The question is, like any large enterprise, can it reform itself?

After your one year ban for personal attacks perhaps you can help.

One year ban is a godsend: now I can actually get some work done unmolested and unharrassed by the "experts" and thier sockpuppets who answer to no one.
