Folks,
I just responded to a post by David Goodman. As is my practice, I addressed him by name - that's just a habit of mine. I want you to know that when I do this, I am not in any way wanting to restrict the dialogue to just him and me. Please, if you have a response to any of my posts - no matter who they are addressed to - do jump in.
I'm still learning online protocol, so humor me :-). If I needed to say this, OK. If I didn't - just ignore it, and I'll shut up :-).

Well, you've screwed things now. I was rather hoping that all my messages represented just a dialogue between Yours Truly and a chosen few, and now everyone will seek to profit from your example.
Damn you, Marc Riddell! I'll see you burn for this!

One thing you'll have to learn is that everyone on the Internet spells it "humour". If you don't, you will expose yourself to ridicule. It's no coincidence that sites like Wikipedia Review and WikiTruth were originally set up by Canadians.

Well, I'll be damned, too, then.

Actually, it's "color," not "humour." Don't listen to the evil British brainwashing!

This thread has many flavours. I hadn't realized that Brandt was Canadian, I was under the impression that he was Texan. Our biography on him isn't helpful there. IIRC some years back a Texas radio station had a programme where callers were asked to decide on whether a named person was "Canadian or dead".
