Several of the people on WR think that "Wikipedia is Evil and Must Be Destroyed!" (an actual thread title there). Others are more reasonable. Most of the "Must Be Destroyed" crowd is basically harmless, though, since they mostly blow off steam and engage in wishful thinking about how Wikipedia is going to collapse due to future litigation, legislation, and so on, which never actually materializes.
Reacting in a highly emotional way to them only plays into their hands; trolls like a good reaction.

And some of them aren't. Which group do you think that Bagley, Barber and Awbrey fall in? From their past and present behaviour on WP, I'd say they are trying to harm us not help us. And their agenda dominates.
