I just noticed that the RfC on other users exceeds the RfA by aprox 3 times. That sucks. I really think we need to spend more time complimenting each other, and less time conflicting.

I think it's time for a large Wikipedia:WikiProject Kindness Campaign membership drive push. And not only do we need more members, but we need everyone practicing the numerous WikiVirtues. Barnstars can work wonders...

RFA does not exist to reward good editing. At the present time we have no formal system for recogniseing good editors although we have a number of informal systems.

It's a nice idea, though clearly not for the ArbCom.
[[Wikipedia:Nominations for WikiMedals]], anyone?

I think the Portugese wikipedia may already do something like that. It has been suggested from time to time on en wikipedia but no one has ever got round to setting it up.~~~~

Let's find out if this is due to apathy or lack of support. Please vote at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Nominations_for_WikiMedals

Although if someone in arbitration is a notably good editor otherwise despite some problems interacting with others, the AC does often make a point of noting the fact.

[[WP:FAC]] does, though getting an article through it is an arduous process. My user page doesn't note every article I've worked on, but it does note every featured article I've pushed through, because I am quite proud of those and they show that I don't just do community and nuts and bolts stuff ;-)
