Secretlondon happens to be a highly valued contributor to wikipedia. She went through the same nomination/request process as all (or nearly all) other sysops go through. I think the specific person who "pushes the button" to make someone a sysop is Tim Starling. Another highly valued contributor.
You are way out of line for attacking both of them because of Secretlondon's decision to unban wik after he had been unilaterally banned without any official discussion. Do I need to remind you of the email that Jimbo sent the list a couple of days ago about how these unilateral bans had to stop?
The accusation that this has anything to do with "POV" is wholly unfounded, unless you mean hear point of view that wikipedia policy should be followed.
