All of this goes to show we need some sort of way of doing a coordinated response. this wont be the last time we see a hoax like this, and some day we may see a real one. I fully accept Riana's apology of course and I apologize myself for not trying to consult with her first.

Advert at the bottom of Moe's last message. Apparently, they realise the importance of relevant advertisements on relevant mailing lists. :-)

(I've already sent this to David, but I may as well post this here too) I was not aware of either the ANI post or the conversation on Moe's talkpage. David and Moe both have my full apologies on this, and I have made a statement to that effect on my talk as well. I was really very surprised that the personal info was undeleted, but I realise now that David knew what he was doing as well as I knew what I was doing. Respectfully, Riana
I saw where you were coming from Riana, it's not a problem. I honestly thought you read AN/I and deleted it because there was discussion on AN/I proposing an block of the account and for the message to be ignored as trolling. I was wrong for assuming that. All I can say is that I'm sorry for wasting my time on the hoax like I did, but I guess it was worth to to ensure anything bad from happening. -- Moe
