All he did was cast his vote on a subject. That's no big deal! Lir wasn't the one to go ballistic over this. His opponents were the ones who swarmed and made a big fuss over this.
I agree with Ec here. I don't see what the big deal is about what Adam did in this case. He edited a wiki page that some people wished would not be edited. But the page was not protected, his edit was not vandalism, and there's just no justification for an alleged 'rule' that such a page can't be further edited.
It has been argued that by editing to add his own vote after the vote was closed, Adam somehow distorted the history of the vote, violated the integrity of the archive. But it's a wiki page, and Adam has no power to distort the history or violate the integrity of anything. It's all in the history.
Was it discourteous to edit a page that some people wanted left in a particular state? Possibly. But not nearly so discourteous as freaking out about it.
