For other numerical examples, compare 420, 93, 42, 23, or 17.
Regretably, I'm not familiar with the numerical codes. Has anyone written an article on these in general? Without this thread my tendency would have been to associate the number "88" with piano players. :-)
Well, we have a [[List of numbers]], and many of the articles for numbers do discuss symbolic meanings. I don't think we have an article for numbers as bywords or signs of recognition.
For those specific numbers, see these articles:
[[420 (drug culture)]] [[93 (number)]] or [[Aleister Crowley]] [[The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything]] [[23 (number)]] or [[Discordianism]] [[Yellow Pig's Day]]
Please note that it is not reasonable to infer from this posting that I am a stoned Thelemite hitchhiker Discordian mathematician. :)
