I referred to "playing the victim card", not "being a victim". The former involves making yourself appear to be a victim with the intent of affecting the perceptions of others, typically for purposes of garnering sympathy and/or supporting your opinion of yourself as the "better man". The latter involves actually having something done to you. I did not suggest that you wanted to be a victim: rather, I suggested that you wanted people to think you were being mistreated and made exaggerative statements designed to foster that impression.
