Basically, it is not our job to decide what warrents action. If you are uncomfortable enought to contact the police, do so. They will tell you if there is enough to take action or not. That is there job, to know the difference and know when to act. Our job is to call on them when we need help. Debate ended as far as I am concerned.

For those who are new to the scene, I'll just say this. The particular details of partisan politics (Republican, Democrat, Green, Libertarian, etc., etc.) are not relevant here. 24 is outside those normal categories. His actual political ideas are an incomprehensible mish-mash of vaguely leftist notions, but I think there's absolutely every reason to take what he said as a threat.
How credible is the threat? I don't know. But credible enough to take legal action, in my opinion.
