Yes, scale back. At least you'll still be around. Time away from the stressfull stuff will do you good.

G'day Mgm,
Did I miss something? Why do you want them removed? You're not leaving are you?
Well, sort of. My pattern the last month or two has been to appear once (occasionally twice) a week, act really crabby, do some stressful grunt work (clear CSD and AfD backlogs, yell at some idiot from CVU, etc.), then piss off again for another week. It's not fun, and it's not sustainable.
I still use Wikipedia for research, particularly at work (the list of Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory was a life-saver recently), and if I spot something that needs correcting, I correct it. So I'm not gone. And I'm still subscribed the list.
But I don't intend to hang around AN/I and suchlike and get involved in the political fighting and so on. And I don't intend to do anything that involves me getting snappy and biting someone's head off unfairly. And I *don't intend to do anything adminny*.
This isn't "goodbye", and it certainly isn't [[meatball:Goodbye]]. I just don't have the time or energy I used to have, and am not interested in putting the limited reserves I have to use on Wikipedia, particularly since I don't feel I'm doing much good. So, I'm scaling back my activities. And I don't think my account should have admin privs if I don't intend to use them.
