I agree. People need to be able to discuss matters openly and frankly. It really is nobody else's business but the people on the mailing list what is said on that list. Other email conversations aren't accessible generally. Why should this mailing list be available? Many people don't realise that what they say on the mailing list isn't private and if they did might simply opt out of it.
