Well, yes, and that is a problem because people think that means you are telling them they are not ill, which is not the case, you're just telling them they have a really weird psychosomatic illness - but they don't want to hear that, any more than CFS sufferers want to be told that some psychological palliatives work, because it implies it's all in their minds, and nobody wants to admit to being mentally ill. Me, I'm a depressive. I know from personal experience that however intangible the cause, the symptoms are as real as they come.
Still, we missed the point again :o)
