In which case the editors bringing the case should *definitely* all have been topic-banned, because they were hard-working volunteer advocates for the cause. Which is considerably closer to any reasonable use of the word "campaigning."
The decision is still awful, and Andries is entirely right to be pissed off enough about it to leave.
