Strangly no. Due to the way the servers are set up editor traffic doesn't have nearly as much impact on viewing speeds for non editors as you would expect.
Perhaps it would be optimal to switch Wikipedia over to _write_-only mode. Get rid of all those freeloading readers who don't contribute. :)
