I certainly found your statements offensive, and it's not clear that they were a joke at all. They look very much like hate speech to me: "nasty form of human virus"?
No need for your implied threats, though I find it ironic that you'd make them in the same post while you claim you find it "utterly wrong to bar people from Wikipedia because of what views they hold."
There's a difference between holding a view, and expressing that view in an offensive or hateful way. If a neo-Nazi wrote similar statements to yours in this forum, I would oppose that too. But until he did, I would be happy to tolerate him. Do you see the difference?
