Section 4 does not necessarily encapsulate all uses of Section 2, nor vice versa. Otherwise there would be no point in having them in separate sections.
I'm not willing to try to impose rules upon mirrors unless we are consistent and forceful. If we're lackadaisical about it, then we created that problem by doing nothing.
Section 2 requires the copyright notices to be included - that includes the authors names. In fact, if my reading of the license is correct (it could well not be - I certainly never noticed this before, which suggests I may just be temporarily insane), while you only have to include 5 authors on the title page as authors (plus yourself and anyone working directly with you), you have to include all the copyright notices, which is one per modification (which would be all the names)... that seems a little odd (and also doesn't quite match how Wikipedia does things). I've probably misunderstood something there.
