I am simply worried about the ratio of featured articles to non-featured articles. As I see it, FAs would be the first to go straight to Wikipedia 1.0, so why not produce more high-quality articles?

Nevertheless, the FAC process needs to go faster. Look at last week: we gained four and >lost three FAs. That comes out to a total gain of one. This is unacceptable.
The standards for a FA are increaseing.
