That would be good. The proposal I've seen suggested only a link, however.
The tagging mechanism with users setting their preferences was proposed very early by me and others, The Cunctator noted that the cat system could be used for tagging, John Lee pointed out that Javascript can be used to load the image directly, and I gave a slightly more detailed design outline a couple days ago that brought this all together along with a mechanism that has the same final effect as the Javascript mechanism at the cost of a page reload for users that don't have support for or have disabled support for Javascript in their browsers.
