I support inserting the word "slogan" in such situations; >whether we
like them or not we can't ignore the plain fact that >such slogans do exist.
Well what about Vicki's assertion that [[DTK is anti-Semitic? Im afraid just sticking "slogan" on the end of something doesnt cut it.. because it wouldnt "cut it" in all cases... nor could all potential "slogans" be researched adequately enough to discern articles about "slogans" from "articles" that are completely bogus... I agree with Ed that slogans not be the titles... but Ill add that they shouldnt be *in the titles... because how much material can there be in the scope of a hate-speech slogan....
Using Vicki's example of anti-Semitism... there are dozens of articles of various categories of it (or alleged it), .. none of them are *named after language used in the "hate context" - they are general and include context far more substantive (half the time) than the fact that a hair-band singer once wore a shirt with this slogan on it... The notion of every slogan being worthy of an article is nonsense... and lets be further consistent: When I first joined, articles about a single phrases or euphemisms would be knocked off like ducks at a carnival shootout... And how does anything Ed or Ray wrote absolve Cuncator of his poor behaviour...
As for my anti-Semitism... Im guess I'm in a good company with Chomsky, Avnery, and countless other paragons of intellect and truthspeak.. not to mention Jesus... all Jews, by the way.. Read attachment: As for not reading my mind... We would have to be on the same *page for that to be true... -SV
