That's bad. I sign ~~~~ at the end of emails, but I've never hand written it! I do try and correct typos on non-wiki websites, though - that's annoying!
I used to try to correct misinformation on other websites too, but I stopped after some people in black suits came to my house and told me it was a bad thing. :(
