Will people PLEASE quit recreating Michael entries? And I don't appreciate being character assassinated by people like GrahamN.
We revert Michael's edits, but we don't delete a page just because he edited it and his name'll be in the history. Quercusrobur should have erased Michael's discography when (or better, before, to keep things separated out) he put in his own text, but given that he mixed them, nobody should have deleted over 1KB of Quercusrobur's text just because Michael's discography was attached to it. After all, it's not as if Quercusrobur edited Michael's text; he just put some other text above it, which is easy to distinguish. The recourse at this point is to revert Michael's edit by erasing the discography.
Eventually, this is what happened, so it's OK now. The lesson is to revert only what Michael writes and to take care not to revert what others have written. By "take care" here, I mean only what can be done by looking at the edit history of the page -- there's no call to actually read any of Michael's text! I agree with you that this would be a waste of time.
And of course, Wikipedians should not insult each other. That goes for everybody (including me), in all threads, and in every page on every wiki.
