Just curious: In what way exactly is is hostile to remove something that is contrary to the goal of something? This list is supposed to be about "relating particularly to the English Wikipedia. Arguing that you don't "pick fights" or "seek battles" does not to me seem a very useful topic to Wikipedia in general.
