I would, absolutely I would. They would have been reading an article about sucking your own dick.

Hm, yes. Perhaps I misphrased it. How about this? "Hey, that site's disgusting. Don't you know they show pictures of a guy sucking his dick?" Were I to respond "Er, but isn't it on an article about the practice of autofellatio? Who asked you to go there?" They'll splutter, but most people I know of that opinion would hit back with "So? It's just inappropriate!" Even though that completely disregards all the facts, people are emotional beings. They don't think logically.
Considering we are smart enough to be discoursing over email and writing an encyclopedia, I don't think any of us are slouches intellectually. The problem is, sometimes we unconsciously expect people to be as logical and intelligent as us. Not all the time of course, and when we do, usually it's of little consequence, but when it happens in cases like this, it's quite damaging. A mostly intellectual person reasoning with a mostly emotional person will get nowhere. That's essentially what we try to do when we say "Oh, you can configure your browser to avoid that," or "But then we'd have to delete articles like those about dirty Sanchez!"
