John Bradley clearly has a level of intelligence and can probably read what we're writing right now. I'm sure that Bradley could easily attempt to deceive us by checking every message to omit all typos, in order to try to make The Number not look like its him. With a matching IP (apparantely) and trolling background, I wouldn't be so sure it isn't him.
Its easy to impersonate someone just by using a spell checker, and we all know impersonation is his specialist subject. ;) ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Gerard" fun@thingy.apana.org.au To: "English Wikipedia" wikien-l@Wikipedia.org Sent: Monday, May 16, 2005 12:06 AM Subject: Re: [WikiEN-l] Irate impersonating me on IRC
Matt R (matt_crypto@yahoo.co.uk) [050516 08:17]:
From a quick check, I would suspect User:The Number to be a different
entity
from User:Irate. Bradley/Irate has a very distinctive writing style characterised by typos (as you note above) and poor grammar to the point
of
incomprehensibility (e.g. "her is the news it is Gerard that does not understand anything excpect manipulation" from a recent email). User:The
Number
doesn't seem to have the same problems with his/her writing.
User:The Number has now been blocked (multiply) as the obvious trolling account it is. I did get an email from someone claiming to be its operater emphasising that they could not possibly be Sollog, ignoring that that wasn't why it was blocked. This person also wrote without trademark Irate typos.
