No problem, but how about using the "revert all the bad edits of this user on sight" strategy instead of the "ban this specific pseudonym of this user" strategy as an experiment in this case? The latter strategy seems to contribute to the proliferation of fake identities which need re-banning and re-banning.
So when we see something that, upon examination, is most definitely vandalism, we revert? Never seen that approach used before :)
Well, the idea is that for a banned user, you don't really have to pay much attention to what he does -- just revert and let other people restore if it's any good. For non-banned users you have to look at each edit carefully before reverting. Sorry if that distinction wasn't clear.
