Um I take it you mean - move to the user space then delete the redirect.
The thing is this person is mentioned briefly in another article [[Alia (CoopStudi)]]. Now what should we do when a person is not famous, but gets a mention in another article like this and happens to be a wikipedia editor ? Should they have their own page anyway, separate from the user page. Or should we unwikify the name on the other page or what?
To be general (as I'm probably just going to repost him on VfD anyway). Suppose someone famous happens to be a wikipedia contributor. Is it ever a good idea to put a link to their user page on a page in the article namespace?

Redirect to the User space then delete the redirect.

Why is there such urgency about deleting the page with the redirect? What harm does it cause? Will anybody be hurt if it is still there at this time next year? Reading 'Dilbert' should be mandatory.
